The WNBA Golden State crew can be referred to as the Golden State Valkyries, the crew revealed on Tuesday.
“Originating from Norse mythology, Valkyries are a number of warrior girls who’re fearless and unwavering – flying by air and sea alike. This model is Golden State’s fashionable interpretation of Valkyries: robust, daring, and fierce,” introduced the crew in a press launch.
The Valkyries will compete beginning within the 2025 season.
The crew has surpassed over 7,500 season tickets for its inaugural season.
