TGL, the new tech-infused team golf league launched by golf legends Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy features six teams, each consisting of four PGA Tour players. Each team represents six different cities and is scheduled to compete in a season-long tournament at the SoFi Center-a purpose-built indoor golf venue. On Monday, the much-anticipated Tiger Woods vs Rory McIlroy showdown will air live.

Tomorrow’s Golf League (TGL) was founded in partnership with the PGA Tour by Woods and McIlroy’s TMRW Sports. The competition originally scheduled to kick off in 2024, but was postponed to 2025. All the matches are earmarked to be played in the United States on Monday or Tuesday evenings. Each match will last for approximately two hours and each team will field three of their four for a match.

TGL Teams and Cities

There are six teams in the competition, with each represented by four PGA Tour players.

Atlanta Drive GC: Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover, Billy Horschel, and Justin Thomas.

Boston Common Golf: Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama, Rory McIlroy, and Adam Scott.

Jupiter Links Golf Club: Max Homa, Tom Kim, Kevin Kisner, and Tiger Woods.

Los Angeles Golf Club: Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose.

Tiger Woods vs Rory McIlroy: How to Watch

While many of these TGL matches feature exciting golfers and tantalizing games, undoubtedly, the ultimate showdown is the match between Boston Common Golf and Jupiter Links Golf Club where Rory McIlroy is a member of the former and Tiger Woods is a member of the latter.

The highly anticipated showdown between Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf and Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club will take place on Monday, January 27 at 6:30 PM. SoFi Center is a 250,000-square-foot tech-infused venue located in Palm Beach State College campus in Florida. It is expected that up to 1500 spectators expected to be in attendance.

TGL has adopted a points-based system for the competition, with each team getting two points for a win and one point for a loss in overtime. During the regular season, each team will play five matches as they face each other in a round-robin format. The top four teams at the end of the season will progress to the semi-finals.

The two teams that emerge victorious from the semi-finals will face off for the SoFi Cup in a best-of-three Finals scheduled for March 24 and 25.

While the ultimate showdown is highly anticipated, it remains to be seen if there would be another face-off between the two golf legends should Boston Common Golf and Jupiter Links Golf Club progress to the semi-finals and finals.
