The Jets used first-round picks on edge rushers in two of the past three drafts, and Will McDonald and Jermaine Johnson should form a nice duo off the edge this season for the Jets.
That means you should not expect the Jets to take an edge rusher at No. 7, but they need to add to the position at some point in this draft.
The Jets need depth at the position and to begin developing someone.
