West Ham United are interested in signing Joao Felix from Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The report has revealed that Wolverhampton Wanderers are also keen on a summer deal for the Portugal international attacking midfielder.
Felix had a less-than-impressive loan spell at Chelsea in 2023 from Atletico Madrid, and it came as surprise when the Blues decided to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent deal in the summer of 2024. Felix, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or forward, failed to make a huge impact in the first half of the season and joined AC Milan on loan in the January transfer window until the end of the current campaign.
The former Benfica star has made five starts and five substitute appearances in Serie A and has played twice in the UEFA Champions League during his loan spell at Milan so far. Felix has not scored or given an assist in those games.
