Man United came close to signing Evan Ferguson in January – Man United News And Transfer News

West Ham United are stepping up their pursuit of Youssef En-Nesyri, with club scouts set to watch the Fenerbahce striker in Europa League action. According to Aspor, the Hammers are keen on the Moroccan forward and will assess him closely when Fenerbahce take on Rangers in Glasgow.

West Ham’s Striker Search Intensifies

With Graham Potter set to overhaul his attacking options this summer, West Ham are in the market for at least one, if not two, new strikers. The futures of Michail Antonio and Danny Ings remain uncertain, while Niclas Füllkrug has struggled to justify his price tag since arriving last year. Meanwhile, Evan Ferguson’s loan spell from Brighton has failed to make the desired impact, casting doubt over a permanent move.

West Ham are also eyeing Jonathan David, though the Canadian’s availability on a free transfer could spark a bidding war among Europe’s elite. The Hammers have further interest in Samu Aghehowa from FC Porto, but face stiff competition from multiple Premier League sides.

En-Nesyri Back on West Ham’s Radar

En-Nesyri’s move to Fenerbahce last summer surprised many, as he had previously been linked with a Premier League switch. However, under José Mourinho, the Moroccan has delivered a standout season, reigniting interest from English clubs—including West Ham.

The 26-year-old has already scored 26 goals this season, and his physicality, aerial dominance, and clinical finishing make him a perfect fit for the Premier League. With Fenerbahce likely to demand a hefty fee, West Ham’s scouts will closely analyse whether En-Nesyri is the ideal target man to lead Potter’s attack next season.

Will the Hammers make a formal move for the Moroccan star? Their scouting mission in Glasgow could be the first step toward a summer bid.
