WBC ordena a Jack-Rozicki por el campeonato crucero » January 14, 2025

El Consejo Mundial de Boxeo (WBC) ha ordenado al campeón de peso crucero Badou “The Ripper” Jack (20-1-1, 19 KOs) que haga su defensa obligatoria del título contra el clasificado número uno del CMB Ryan “The Bruiser” Rozicki (20-1-1, 19 KOs). Si los dos bandos no logran negociar un acuerdo, el CMB realizará una subasta el 4 de febrero, después de lo cual el combate entre Jack y Rozicki deberá realizarse dentro de los 60 días. El promotor de Rozicki, Three Lions Promotions, envió inmediatamente al Workforce Jack una oferta la semana pasada para promocionar la pelea en Canadá.

“Estamos esperando escuchar su contraoferta”, explicó el promotor Dan Otter de Three Lions Promotions. “El boxeo ha tenido un gran resurgimiento en Canadá y Ryan está liderando el camino. Es uno de los pegadores más emocionantes y más duros del boxeo, definitivamente en la división de peso crucero. Quiere el cinturón verde del CMB y, en última instancia, unificar la división. Ryan peleará con Jack en cualquier lugar por el cinturón” .
