The Baltimore Orioles have been capable of salvage one recreation from their weekend sequence in opposition to the New York Yankees on Sunday, holding on to the highest spot within the American League East going into the All-Star break.

Cedric Mullins walk-off two-run double within the backside of the ninth inning proved to be the distinction within the Orioles’ 6-5 win, capping off a wild ninth inning comeback.

The Yankees took a 5-3 lead within the high of the ninth inning when rookie first baseman Ben Rice clubbed a three-run residence run to proper middle subject off of Craig Kimbrel that appeared to set the stage for a possible sweep.

However Yankees nearer Clay Holmes was unable to slam the door shut because of a few defensive miscues behind him.

First, shortstop Anthony Volpe was unable to deal with a routine floor ball with the bases loaded that may have ended the sport with a drive out at any base. That not solely pushed a run throughout the plate to make it a one-run recreation, it stored the inning going for Mullins.
