When Michael Chandler fought Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 in May 2022, he was coming off back-to-back losses and in need of a win. Ferguson entered the match having lost his three previous bouts and trying to change course from a downward spiral.
The opening round was competitive but the fight came to an abrupt halt early in the second frame. Chandler delivered a front kick to the face of Ferguson send the former interim titleholder crashing to the canvas removed from reality.
Chandler faces Paddy Pimblett in the UFC 314 co-main event on April 12th.
