Israel Adesanya was taking a web page from the “Poatan” playbook.

As we’ve seen from earlier UFC occasions, “The Final Stylebender” can’t stand watching Alex Pereira emerge victorious, so the previous middleweight champion enlisted his brother David to carry out a “Shaman Ritual” to assist counteract Pereira’s black magic.

“You channeled the improper spirits!” Adesanya shouted after watching Pereira smash Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 in Las Vegas.

“I’m saying ‘Chama’ and I’m doing a f*cking bow,” his brother replied. “I f*cked it up!”

Adesanya managed to even the rating in opposition to Pereira at UFC 287 again in early 2023, leaving them tied at one apiece underneath the UFC banner after dropping a pair of bouts to “Poatan” on the kickboxing circuit.
