Villarreal are interested in signing Axel Disasi from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. Disasi is not part of the Chelsea squad for the ongoing 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, and Villarreal believe that they could be able to get him.
Chelsea are ready to sell Disasi this summer, but the Conference League winners, who will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing in the top four of the Premier League table in the 2024-25 campaign, want €30 million for the 27-year-old centre-back, who has been on the books of the Blues since 2023 and has failed to establish himself in the first team.
Disasi had a loan spell at Aston Villa in the second half of last season. The Frenchman did not have the best of times at Villa Park and does not have a long-term future at Chelsea. Villarreal reportedly believe that they would be able to convince Disasi to join them by offering him a leading role in the team.
