Villarreal are interested in signing Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has revealed that the La Liga outfit are ready to offer €35 million for Semenyo to convince his Premier League club to sell the forward.
Semenyo has been on the books of Bournemouth since 2023 and has established himself as one of the better players in the Premier League. The 25-year-old Ghana international forward has scored 11 goals and given six assists in 38 matches in all competitions for the Cherries this season, having been deployed mainly on the wings.
Fichajes has reported that Bournemouth do not want to sell Semenyo, with the Premier League club’s manager, Andoni Iraola, fully aware that losing the forward would be a huge blow to his team’s chances of being successful next season. Villarreal are fifth in the La Liga table at the moment with 55 points from 33 matches, while Bournemouth currently find themselves 10th in the Premier League standings with 50 points from 34 games.
