The UFC has cut ties with three fighters after recent losses inside the octagon with Seung Woo Choi, Diana Belbita and Istela Nunes no longer being on the active roster, MMA Fighting has learned.

Belbita and Nunes were let go after losing to Dione Barbosa and Loma Lookboonmee, respectively, at UFC Vegas 105 on April 5.

Belbita, who entered the UFC in 2019 with a record of 13-4, leaves at 15-10 after losing six of eight UFC bouts, including her past three. Belbita’s octagon wins came in decisions against Maria Oliveira and Hannah Goldy.

Nunes, a former ONE Championship title contender, was removed from the roster after losing all five UFC strawweight matches since October 2021.

Choi joined the promotion in 2019 and fought 11 times, facing popular names such as Movsar Evloev and Alex Caceres, but had his hand raised only four times since. The South Korean featherweight went 1-5 since 2021, most recently losing by first-round knockout to Kevin Vallejos in March.
