UFC 313 features two massive five-round bouts, including the 2025 debut of light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, as shown on the event’s official poster.
The UFC’s next pay-per-view event takes place March 8 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and is headlined by Pereira defending his title against Magomed Ankalaev. In the co-main event, former interim lightweight and “BMF” champ Justin Gaethje faces Dan Hooker in a fan-friendly contest scheduled for 25 minutes.

“Poatan” is coming off of a sensational 2024 that saw him finish all three of his challengers — Jamahal Hill, Jiri Prochazka, and Khalil Rountree — in a six-month span. Pereira captured the title in November 2023 with a stoppage of Prochazka in their first meeting in the main event of UFC 295.
Ankalaev is unbeaten in his past 12 fights as he gets his second opportunity at UFC championship gold. In his first title fight, Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz fought to a split draw at UFC 282 in December 2022 for the vacant championship.
Gaethje returns to action for the first time since being on the receiving end of the 2024 Knockout of the Year against Max Holloway at UFC 300 this past April in MMA Fighting’s Fight of the Year. “The Highlight” had won his previous two bouts against Dustin Poirier and Rafael Fiziev.
Hooker gets a massive opportunity to get into title contention as he looks to make it four straight victories.
