UFC 313 goes down in just three weeks, and now the full main card has been revealed ahead of the pay-per-view event headlined by Alex Pereira vs. Magomed Ankalaev.
In the main event, Pereira puts his light heavyweight title on the line against a man many had tabbed as a future champion for years. Pereira is currently the No. 2 pound-for-pound fighter in the world according to the MMA Fighting Global Rankings and coming off a sensational year where he recorded three knockout victories, including a Fight of the Night winning battle against Khalil Rountree in October, and finished second for Fighter of the Year.
Ankalaev, meanwhile, is unbeaten since dropping his UFC debut back in 2018, with 11 wins, 1 draw and 1 no-contest over his past 12 fights. The No. 2-ranked light heavyweight also had a strong 2024, scoring a KO win over Johnny Walker in January and then a unanimous decision win over Aleksandar Rakic in October.
In the co-main event, former interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje returns to action in a five-round fight with fellow top 10 lightweight Dan Hooker. Gaethje fought just once in 2024, losing his ‘BMF’ title to Max Holloway at UFC 300 in the Fight of the Year and also the Knockout of the Year.
Hooker also only fought once in 2024, taking a split decision win over Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305 in August.
The rest of the main card features a collection of ranked fighters, rising stars, and big names, with Jalin Turner, Amanda Lemos, and King Green all getting spots on the pay-per-view portion of the card. The full card and bout order are still to be announced.
