Juventus dueling with Napoli for Sancho – Who would the Man Utd winger replace in Turin?

Tottenham have had a disastrous season in the Premier League under Ange Postecoglou.

Their latest defeat against Wolves once again showed that they lack quality and experience in the team.

They are currently 15th in the Premier League standings after playing 32 games and they might be on course for their worst ever finish in the competition.

However, Ange Postecoglou is ready to address the issues facing his squad in the summer transfer window and he has already identified his transfer targets.

According to Caught Offside sources, Paris Saint-Germain defender Milan Skriniar is the player they are chasing in the summer transfer window.

The defender, who is currently on loan at Fenerbahce where he has impressed and caught the attention of several clubs, is looking to leave PSG this summer after finding out he is not a part of their future plans.

Fenerbahce are preparing to open formal negotiations with PSG to sign the defender on a permanent basis.

Skriniar, who has made nine appearances and scored two goals for the Turkish side, has quickly become a cornerstone of Fenerbahce’s backline, impressing with his leadership, composure, and tactical intelligence.

The Turkish giants face mounting competition from several Premier League clubs, including Tottenham, Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace, and AFC Bournemouth, all of whom are reportedly monitoring the defender’s situation and exploring bids of their own.

PSG are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of €20 million, a valuation that Fenerbahce are currently working to meet through alternative financial strategies.

Despite the challenge posed by lucrative salary packages from Premier League suitors, Fenerbahce remain optimistic, with Skriniar reportedly content with his role, consistent playing time, and lifestyle in Istanbul.

Spurs and Postecoglou face a difficult job convincing the player to leave Istanbul for a move to North London.

With Cristian Romero likely to leave the club at the end of the season, it is easy to understand why Spurs are interested in a move for him.

The Premier League side are believed to be ready to allocate more substantial financial resources to land the Slovak international, giving them a potential edge.

While competition for Skriniar is expected to intensify, Fenerbahce’s intent to keep the player, combined with his intention to stay at the club, provides the Turkish giant with a solid platform in negotiations.
