Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jack Grealish from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport. It has been reported that Man City are ready to sell Grealish, with Tottenham showing genuine interest in the former Aston Villa star.
However, Spurs have to overcome a major hurdle if they are to secure the services of Grealish this summer. First of all, Villa are not going to sell the England international winger on the cheap. Secondly, the 29-year-old will have to take a pay-cut if he is to move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as his £300,000-a-week salary will break Tottenham’s wage structure.
Grealish joined Man City from Villa in 2021. The England international winger has not been able to make himself an undisputed starter in Pep Guardiola’s team. Grealish has scored two goals and given five assists in 26 matches this season and scored three goals and made three assists in 36 games in 2023-24.
