Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The report has claimed that Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Crystal Palace, Everton, Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham United are also keen on a deal for the defender.
Harwood-Bellis has been on the books of Southampton on a permanent basis since the summer of 2024 after a loan spell from Manchester City in the 2023-24 campaign. The 23-year-old defender played a big role in the Saints winning promotion from the Championship to the Premier League last season and has done well for the Saints in the English top flight this time around.
Southampton, though,have been dire all season and look set for relegation to the Championship, having picked up just nine points from 27 Premier League games. TBR has reported that Harwood-Bellis is ready to leave St. Mary’s Stadium this summer.
