Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Matheus Cunha from Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, according to CaughtOffSide. The report has claimed that Tottenham are ready to trigger the £62 million release clause in Cunha’s contract at Wolves.
The report has claimed that Tottenham are not the only club who are keen on a deal for Cunha in the summer of 2025. Arsenal, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the Brazil international forward, who has scored 14 goals and given four assists in 27 matches in all competitions for Wolves so far this season.
Tottenham are 12th in the Premier League table at the moment with 33 points from 26 matches, while Wolves currently find themselves 17th in the standings with 22 points from 26 games, five points above the relegation zone. While Spurs are unlikely to end up in the top four this season, the Wanderers could get relegated to the Championship.
