Man United have been approached by the agent of Tammy Abraham

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing a summer swoop for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with Ange Postecoglou keen to strengthen his attacking options for the 2025/26 season.

According to Fichajes, Spurs are closely monitoring the 28-year-old forward, who could become a free agent at the end of the season if he doesn’t agree to a contract extension with Everton. Despite the Toffees’ efforts to retain their long-serving No.9, Calvert-Lewin appears uninterested in renewing his deal—prompting several clubs, including Spurs, to circle.

A Potential Bargain in the Market

Calvert-Lewin has been a loyal servant for Everton since joining in 2016, racking up 269 appearances and 91 goal contributions across all competitions. Although his recent seasons have been plagued by injuries, his physical presence and Premier League experience make him an appealing option for Tottenham—especially on a free transfer.

With last summer’s acquisition of Dominic Solanke not delivering the expected returns, Spurs are now looking for added firepower. Calvert-Lewin is seen as someone who could provide competition and cover in the No.9 role, while possibly rejuvenating his form under Postecoglou’s progressive system.

Spurs’ Ambitious Pitch

Tottenham are working behind the scenes to sell their project to Calvert-Lewin, offering him a key role in their push for top-four contention and silverware. If the deal goes through, it could be a smart, low-risk move for a club looking to evolve its frontline.

Could Calvert-Lewin be the next striker to thrive in North London? Spurs fans will be watching this space closely.
