It was a tough night at the office for Israel Adesanya as “The Last Stylebender” lost his third fight in a row via TKO to Nassourdine Imavov.
The Sean Strickland fight looked like a fluke. The Dricus Du Plessis fight was a war that ended with … maybe another fluke? But it was hard to call ‘fluke’ once again when Imavov caught Adesanya with a big overhand right followed by an even bigger left against the cage to put the former middleweight champion down (watch the finish here).
“A legend of the sport, a future Hall of Famer,” commentator Michael Bisping declared on the UFC Saudi Arabia post-show. “But his time at the top is done.”
I have just read a comment on an MMA page saying the downfall of Israel Adesanya needs to be studied!!!!!!!!!Can everyone on here who is not absolute moron actually understand that statement!!!!!!I am trying so hard to understand it but can’t… I’m so confused…What…

At 35 years old with 100+ fights across all combat sports, that may be true. But the man still deserves to be treated with respect according to former UFC welterweight contender Darren Till.
“Me and Izzy aren’t friends, I wouldn’t even say I am his biggest fan outside of the octagon,” Till wrote in a long statement on X (formerly Twitter). “But that’s got f—k all to do with what that man has achieved in this sport. He was a f—king wrecking machine at middleweight. No one could beat him. Literally at one stage he looked unbeatable in his title reign … Facts are facts he was fucking ruining everyone.”
“Izzy was a an absolute wrecking machine in his day. He is without doubt one of the middleweight GOATs and it’s not even up for debate. In fact he can lose his next 5 fights and it wouldn’t change a f—king thing on his GOAT status.”
“But today’s kind of MMA fans are so f—king dumb stupid IQ of about 10 [and] say these things,” he continued. “I just look and think ‘Oh my f—king god.’ Hope is lost. Gang of absolute morons. I’m in utter disbelief by it. Sorry all of you for the big ass rant but f—k me. A man like Izzy should be worshiped among MMA fans and the UFC. He’s literally one of the all time greats.”
“You don’t have to like him. No one gives a f—k in fact. But we pay to watch fighting. And if it’s fighting we are talking about, MMA as per say, Izzy was one of the best. Problem nowadays is all these dumb c—ts on here let their emotions take over the facts of the matter, so if someone doesn’t like a fighter’s personality they say they are shit.”
Till went on to describe Colby Covington as an example of someone who doesn’t get his due as an athlete and fighter because people don’t like his ‘personality.’ It’s that inability to separate the fighter from the skills that lead people to say ignorant s—t, according to “The Gorilla.”
“Yous are all f—king dumb,” he concluded. “Dumb as f—k. Over and out!”
