1927–M.I.T.’s Henry Steinbrenner, whose son George was the proprietor of the NY Yankees, received the 220-yard low hurdles on the IC4A Championships in 23.9.

1960–Villanova edged Penn State, 38 to 37-1/2, to win the IC4A group title on its dwelling monitor.
