Happy 28th birthday to former No. 4-overall NFL draft pick an Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones!
While the beginning of the Jones era was exciting for Giants fans, it was clear the experiment was over by the middle of the 2024 NFL season and he was eventually cut to sign with the Minnesota Vikings. Now, Jones will hope to follow in the footsteps of signal callers like Sam Darnold, Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield by finding success in a new situation. He will have to compete with fellow former top-five pick in Anthony Richardson for the starting job, but he has shown in spurts he has what it takes to win the gig.
