The Celtics’ slew of offseason transactions can finally be made official, and there’s one big change from what was previously reported.

Initially, the Celtics reportedly agreed to trade Jrue Holiday for Anfernee Simons and two second-round picks, but those picks are no longer headed to Boston.

The two second-round picks have been removed from the deal due to Holiday’s medicals, Aaron Fentress of the Oregonian first reported.

“According to the source, a recent review of Holiday’s medicals revealed nothing substantial enough to warrant the trade being negated. However, there was enough there to lead the Blazers to slightly alter the terms of the deal.”

The Portland Trail Blazers trade with the Boston Celtics has been reduced to a straight player swap without the previously reported two second-round picks going to the Celtics, a league source has told The Oregonian/OregonLive.

The two second-round picks are a loss for the Celtics, and it’s not clear what was wrong with Holiday’s medicals.

Let’s take a look at all of the transactions that are now becoming official.

Jrue Holiday has been traded to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons

Holiday has nearly $100 million left on his contract over the next three years, and he’ll continue his NBA career in Portland. Simons, meanwhile, is on an expiring $27.7 million contract.

“Anfernee is a really good young player who has continuously improved in his seven years in the NBA,” Brad Stevens said in an official press release.

2. Kristaps Porzingis has been traded to the Atlanta Hawks for Georges Niang

Kristaps Porzingis departs the Celtics after two years, heading to the Hawks on an expiring $30.7 million contract. In exchange, the Celtics acquire Georges Niang, who is on an expiring $8.2 million deal.

“We are so thankful for KP and Jrue and the time we had together in Boston,” Brad Stevens said in an official press release. “They were great Celtics whose impact on our organization went well beyond the court. They were integral parts of two great teams, including one which brought us all a new banner. Their impact on this organization will last a long time, and we look forward to celebrating them when they return to the Garden this season.”

In addition, Stevens welcomed Niang, a Lawrence native, to the Celtics: “Georges is no stranger to Boston and has continuously been a winning player over the course of his career.”

3. The Celtics have signed Luka Garza to a two-year deal

The two-year, $5.5 million contract is fully guaranteed. This has yet to be announced by the Celtics.

4. The Celtics have signed Josh Minott to a two-year deal

The two-year, $5 million contract includes a team option for the second year. This has yet to be announced by the Celtics.

The current 2025-26 Celtics roster

Once these four moves will be made official, the Celtics’ 15-man roster will include:

Jayson Tatum (injured, Achilles)
Jaylen Brown
Derrick White
Payton Pritchard
Neemias Queta
Sam Hauser
Jordan Walsh
Xavier Tillman
Baylor Scheierman
JD Davison (non-guaranteed)
Hugo Gonzalez
Luka Garza
Josh Minott
Anfernee Simons
Georges Niang

In addition, the Celtics have three two-way players:

Miles Norris (second year on two-way)
Max Shulga (57th pick)
Amari Williams (46th pick)

Given that the Celtics remain above the second apron, additional moves are expected this offseason. Simons and Niang could still be moved as the Celtics work to get below the second apron. It’s also possible other players could be traded as the team continues to shed salary.

This story will be updated as more information is made available.
