In the course of the Dodgers’ first homestand of 2024, followers seen Dodger Stadium organist Dieter Ruehle develop his repertoire of Japanese anime theme music throughout video games.
Ruehle not too long ago went on the Baseball Tonight podcast with Buster Olney to speak in regards to the new additions to his repertoire:
“Every participant’s completely different. I simply attempt to make it enjoyable for the followers, and if there’s some kind of hyperlink — like not too long ago with Ohtani I simply figured, perhaps I may simply play some Japanese anime songs that is likely to be acknowledged by Ohtani followers. So I’ve been doing that not too long ago. I’ve been enjoying Sailor Moon. I not too long ago realized Jujutsu Kaisen.”
