“I am taking Usyk.  I feel he’ll win,” Atlas stated.  “It is a man who finds methods to win.  It is in his DNA.  I do not suppose it is an accident that he wins on a regular basis.”

Atlas plans to put wagers on each males to win by knockout however believes the winner shall be Usyk.  “I obtained Usyk.  That is my important play.  I’ve obtained him to win.  I’ve obtained him to win,” Atlas stated.

Teddy Atlas explains ‘What this struggle comes right down to’

Atlas in contrast the primary struggle between Usyk and Fury to ‘The Thrilla in Manila,’ the third match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in 1975.  Ali gained, however the match is thought to be probably the most brutal fights in boxing historical past.

“That is what this struggle comes right down to folks.  I do not suppose anybody else goes to the touch on.  That is the rationale why I am choosing Usyk,” Atlas stated.  “I feel it was like The Thrilla in Manila.  Ali and Frazier left components of themselves in that ring.”

“You permit a chunk of your self within the rattling ring.  In Manila, Ali and Frazier left a chunk of themselves in that ring.  They had been by no means the identical, and I feel they (Usyk and Fury) left a part of themselves within the ring that night time (of their first struggle) much like that,” Atlas continued.  “That was a hell of a struggle and each guys took punishment particularly Fury.

“Each guys are getting older.  That goes into play too.  And I feel it comes right down to, not if each guys left one thing within the ring.  I do not suppose there is a doubt that they left one thing within the ring, however who left extra?  For me, that is what this struggle comes right down to.  Who left extra within the ring of themselves in that first struggle?  And I will say it was Fury, that he left extra of himself.”
