Letsile Tebogo and Siffan Hassan have been topped World Athletes of the Yr.

The pair obtained their accolades on the annual international awards in Monaco (December 1) after scintillating seasons.

Tebogo grew to become Botswana’s first ever Olympic champion with 200m gold within the French capital, clocking an African document of 19.46 – a time that positioned him fifth on the all-time checklist over half a lap.
