Super rugby fantasy: Tizzano is one of the highest points scorers, no change in $ value

Some big defensive efforts this weekend with only two teams below 80% and only the Crusaders getting double digit clean breaks with 16. Unsurprisingly the two with sub 80%, Fijian Drua and Western Force, shipping a few points, 93 points combined. Though it has to be said the Brumbies and Crusaders both looked top quality.

The Chiefs shift against the Blues deserves a highlight with 226 made and only 22 missed, just cracking 90%, and only giving the Blues 4 clean breaks, considering the game went down to one point you’d argue that was the difference. Chiefs also the team most likely to take three from a penalty, so you could credit the close win to that as well.

Interestingly the Waratahs look pretty good by the numbers, solid on defence despite making 200plus tackles, gave away bugger all penalties, fairly equal in both possession and territory, and yet twenty behind on the scoreboard, only dotting down twice. Also saw they made more turnovers while spilling the ball less than the Reds. Fell asleep before this one, that half hour gap was to much, be interested to hear what happened there.

Beginning to think I should’ve added all the attacking stats as well. If I get the time I might go back and update everything.

Anyway enjoy.
