The Miami Heat have yet to receive a trade package they are willing to accept for Jimmy Butler. The Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors are the two teams most likely to acquire Butler, reports ESPN’s Shams Charania on NBA Today on Tuesday.
“From Jimmy Butler’s perspective, the Suns are the only team right now that he is willing to commit long-term to,” said Charania. “That’s something that is known in league circles.”
Both the Heat and Butler are motivated to get a deal done even if he’s attempting to force his way to the Suns in a deal that would be far more complicated to execute than a trade for the Warriors.
