Let’s just say there is quite a bit of work to do for the defensive side of the ball for the Miami Dolphins. They appear to be set at linebacker and with everyone healthy, should be set at edge rusher. It’s everything else that needs work. While the team signed two new safeties in Ashtyn Davis and Ifeatu Melifonwu, they still need to add another starter. Davis has never been a full time starter and Melifonwu can’t stay on the field, a trait the Dolphins love. The team also needs to find some defensive lineman to pair with Zach Sieler and Benito Jones. Thankfully this upcoming draft class seems to be deep on the d-line. Finally, the Dolphins need to find a starter opposite Jalen Ramsey at cornerback. Maybe Kader Kohou is the one to take that spot but the team still needs to add some talent to that room.
