According to David Ornstein, Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with West Ham over the proposed transfer of Mohammed Kudus. The medical preceding the move is set to take place on Thursday, and the Hammers will receive a total of £55million for the services of the Ghanaian forward, with just under three years left on his contract.
Several top clubs were previously linked with Kudus going into the summer transfer window. Liverpool and Arsenal were among them, but as neither the Premier League champions nor the runners-up took any concrete steps, Spurs seem to have taken advantage and reached the agreement just over a week after initial reports of their own interest. Having won the Europa League, the Lillywhites also have Champions League football to offer, despite finishing just above the relegation zone in the English top flight.
Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 and has gone on to make a total of 80 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and contributing 13 assists.
