The Seattle Seahawks have almost completed signing their 2025 draft class, which notably includes former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, taken in the third round at No. 92 overall.
While not official, it looks as if Milroe has signed his first NFL contract based off of reporter Aaron Wilson’s contract breakdown. Those numbers are also on OverTheCap.com, so we might as well just get to business and look at Milroe’s rookie deal.

None of Milroe’s salary is guaranteed and his cap numbers are just simply adding up his base salary, his signing bonus, and his roster bonus. Each roster bonus from 2026 through 2028 will trigger on the third day of training camp. The beauty of rookie contracts is that they’re not just inexpensive (especially deeper into the draft), they’re pretty straightforward.
The Seahawks will have Sam Darnold, Milroe, and Drew Lock combine for less than $17 million in cap number for the 2025 season. Milroe is the youngest, the cheapest, and certainly (outside of Sam Darnold sustaining and/or improving upon last season’s strong performance) the one fans hope has the highest upside of anyone on the team.
