Former middleweight champion Sean Strickland issued a challenge to former welterweight titleholder Belal Muhammad in classic Sean Strickland fashion.

Muhammad has said in the past that he thought a fight against Strickland would be ‘easy’ for him. Strickland wants “Remember the Name” to prove it.

“I would love to fight Sean. It doesn’t even have to be a belt on the line. I’d just fight him just to fight him at 185,” Muhammad told Submission Radio in September. “That would be the fight I’d want at 185.”

“I’d slap him around. I’d literally go in there and I’d slap him around. Sean, when I think of tough fights, Sean’s not one of them,” Muhammad continued. “I think it would be an easy fight for me. He beats a lot of guys with cardio. I have better cardio than him. He beats a lot of guys with jabs. I have better boxing than him.”

In an interview with Helen Yee on Friday, Strickland ruthlessly called out Muhammad.

“Belal would be a fun fight. That would be a fun one. Belal you should finally sack up,” Strickland said. “This is it. You could finally sack the f*ck up. All that sh*t you talked, man. We can finally make it happen. You lost your belt. You kind of got f*cked up. I got f*cked up. We should make that fight happen Belal.

“All that sh*t he talks on Instagram. He’s like, ‘I’m going to come fight you. I’m going not come do this. I’m going to come to that.’ Now you can you f*cking p*ssy. Do it for Palestine.”
