Former UFC champion Sean Strickland is once again handing out gym beatdowns.
Strickland loves sparring and doesn’t hide it. The 34-year-old Middleweight is always in the gym throwing down, and he doesn’t discriminate when it comes to throwing hands. There’s plenty of videos of Strickland knocking out training partners, fighting fans, and going after bigger opponents, but that’s not all. Just over a year ago, Strickland made headlines by beating the crap out of Sneako, a popular streamer, and it seems he’s still hungry for influencer blood.
In the video above, Strickland can be seen chasing YouTuber Nick Nayersina all over the Xtreme Couture Octagon. While Strickland doesn’t appear to be fully going for the kill, he’s also not holding much back, throwing hard-looking elbows and high kicks at his hapless foe.
This is only a clip, so there’s surely more beatdown footage to come.
Is this simple content farming or is there real beef here? Per FullSendMMA, there’s actually some bad blood dating back to Strickland’s drama with ex-Navy SEAL (and Tony Ferguson head coach) David Goggins. Strickland trashed the SEALs and challenged them to a fight, whereas Goggins challenged Strickland to do some SEAL training exercises.
Nayersina stood by Goggins and dissed Strickland … to his own detriment.
“Keep in mind Nick made a video doing Navy Seal training and saying Sean Strickland backed out of it,” FullSendMMA explained about the incident. “He also said ‘F—k You Sean Strickland’ in the video.”
As for Strickland’s actual professional fighting career, his 2025 is off to a rough start. Strickland failed to regain his title in a miserably flat performance, getting shut out by rival champion Dricus Du Plessis in a bloody defeat that pushed him out of the title mix (watch here).
Maybe he can rebound versus this fellow former champion.
