Vinicius Junior, one of the club’s most iconic and influential figures in recent years, has finally broken his silence with a cryptic six-word message that sent pulses racing across the soccer world. “I hope to continue here for many years. I have always said that this is the club of my life. I am very happy with the coach, the coaching staff and everyone who works at the club. I hope I can continue to be part of this team,” he said to Mundo Deportivo.
The six-word core of that quote — “this is the club of my life” — was interpreted by many as a commitment to Madrid, even amid unresolved contract talks.
Saudi Pro League circling
Still, that has not silenced the rumors of a potential record-breaking offer from the Saudi Pro League, which dreams of pairing Vinicius with Cristiano Ronaldo to further boost its international profile. According to Fichajes, state-backed Saudi support would allow clubs to table an offer upwards of $293 million — a sum that would test even Florentino Perez’s resolve.
