Real Madrid forward Rodrygo would prefer to move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window if he is to leave, according to Fichajes. Madrid are ready to sell the Brazil international this summer, and although there is interest from Liverpool and Bayern, the 24-year-old’s first-choice club would be Arsenal.
Rodrygo struggled for regular playing time under Carlo Ancelotti last season, and things have not improved for the Brazilian under new manager Xabi Alonso either. Alonso, who left Bayer Leverkusen for Madrid at the end of last season, did not use him much at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Arsenal are looking for a new winger to bolster the left-hand side of their attack. Gabriel Martinelli usually plays as a left winger for Mikel Arteta’s side, but Bayern Munich are interested in the Brazil international, who is considering his future at the Emirates Stadium.
