The 2025 NFL Draft is in the rear view mirror, meaning fans across the league are still full of hope and optimism about all the youth and talent their favorite team added during the draft and in the undrafted free agency frenzy afterwards.

That is no different for the Seattle Seahawks, who selected eleven players in the draft and then signed several undrafted free agents afterwards. And, as in seasons past, there was no shortage of churn following rookie minicamp, with the front office already moving on from a pair of undrafted free agents after rookie minicamp concluded.

That gave Seattle a pair of free roster spots, the first of which it used to officially bring back Johnathan Hankins, and according to a social media post from the official account of the University of Kentucky football program, the Seahawks will be filling the final open roster spot with an off ball linebacker who was at rookie minicamp as a tryout player.

D’Eryk Jackson missed the last four games of the 2024 season due to injury, after recording 156 tackles and a pair of sacks over the course of the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

To demonstrate the importance of needing to wait for official times from college pro days, here is what Jackson’s RAS looked like in the immediate aftermath of his pro day in March with unofficial 40 times and splits.

And this is what how his RAS score calculated once the full, official results were made public, including both his official speed testing results and his agility results.

And now it’s back to the rest of your regularly scheduled offseason program.
