One potential AFC contender could also be gearing up for an aggressive pursuit of vast receiver Davante Adams.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a robust curiosity in Adams and are making an “aggressive” provide for him, in keeping with Dianna Russini of The Athletic. The Steelers have already been in contact with the Las Vegas Raiders a couple of potential commerce.

A possible pursuit of Adams doesn’t come as an enormous shock. The Steelers made a run at vast receiver Brandon Aiyuk within the offseason earlier than he in the end stayed with the San Francisco 49ers. Although that pursuit was unsuccessful, it signified fairly clearly that the staff is just not proud of its vast receiver choices and is prepared to pay up for a transparent No. 1.

Whereas the Steelers are involved in Adams, it’s not clear if Adams is as involved in them. Stories recommend that the Raiders vast receiver has his coronary heart set on going to 1 staff, although there are stated to be a handful of others he would even be open to. That in the end may not matter as Adams doesn’t have any direct say in the place he goes except the Raiders select to take his preferences into consideration.

In the end, this might come down as to if the Steelers meet the Raiders’ lofty asking worth. If they’re prepared to be aggressive, that might give them a giant benefit.
