The Premier League seems to have scrapped plans for any additional winter breaks, with dates confirmed for the 2025/26 season persevering with a brand new method.

After a brief trial with a staggered winter break, the English high flight has resumed regular service across the festive interval and into January.

As a substitute of any weekends off, golf equipment are as an alternative given extra time between fixtures, with no gameweeks held inside 60 hours of one another.

That comes with the Premier League confirming their key dates for the 2025/26 marketing campaign: which begins on August 15/16/17, 2025 and ends on Could 24, 2026.

There will probably be 83 clear days between the tip of the present season and the beginning of the following – although, naturally, golf equipment will fill these with pre-season fixtures.

Extra relaxation time is afforded through the festive interval – as with this season, when Liverpool play on December 22, 26 and 29 for 3 video games in eight days.

No fixtures will happen on Christmas Eve, which can also be the case this time round.

The 2025/26 season will probably be performed over 33 weekends and 5 midweek rounds, with additional commitments within the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup fitted round these.

It’s, in impact, precisely the identical as the present season, which kicked off on the weekend of August 16/17/18 and can conclude on Could 25.

The Premier League are but to verify when the switch home windows will open and shut in 2025/26, although claims that the summer season deadline will land earlier than the season begins have been refuted.

Liverpool will hope to go into the following marketing campaign as reigning champions, with Arne Slot‘s facet sitting high of the desk after 11 video games to date.
