Anastasia Potapova is one win from the Transylvania title and a career first.
Playing her first tournament as a top-seed, Potapova stopped lucky loser Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-3, 7-5 advancing to her sixth final in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

World No. 32 Potapova improved to 9-3 on the season.
The 23-year-old Potapova will face 72nd-ranked Italian Lucia Bronzetti in Sunday’s final. Bronzetti led fifth-seeded Katerina Siniakova 4-0 when the doubles No. 1 retired from today’s second semifinal.
Potapova, who is 4-0 lifetime against Bronzetti, is playing for her third career title and first hard-court crown since 2023 Linz.
It is Bronzetti’s fourth Tour-level final. Bronzetti is playing for her second career title and first since 2023 Rabat.
