PlayMoreGolf (PMG), the UK’s largest flexible golf membership platform, and Quick9, a leading app for organising and coordinating social golf, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming the way PMG’s 12,000 members play golf.

The partnership will integrate Quick9’s game coordination, communication and management capabilities into the PMG platform experience, enabling golfers to book and socialise their games, find playing partners, and maximise the value of their PMG memberships.

With Quick9, members will have an easier way to connect with others, organise games, and play more frequently at PMG’s network of member clubs.

“At a time when golfers are weighing the value of traditional memberships, we want to ensure our members have every opportunity to play the game they love,” said Alastair Sinclair, CEO of PlayMoreGolf.

“Partnering with Quick9 aligns perfectly with our mission to help golfers to play more golf and make the most of their memberships by providing them with greater flexibility, social opportunities, and reasons to play.”

Quick9 was founded in 2023 with the mission of cutting through the usual chaos of WhatsApp and Facebook groups, offering golfers, societies, and communities like PMG members, a simpler and more efficient way to organise their games.

For smaller groups and societies, Quick9 streamlines communication, scheduling and planning, while for larger networks, it acts as a powerful platform to discover and share games—helping every golfer play more often and connect with new people on the course.

“Our mission at Quick9 has always been to bring golfers together and make it easier for golf groups and communities to organise and schedule games – making golf more accessible and the social experience even more enjoyable,” said Rob MacAdam, Founder and CEO of Quick9.

“We’re excited to team up with PlayMoreGolf to help their members grow their golfing networks and spend more time both on the course and in the clubhouse.”

The initial phase of the strategic partnership will focus on bringing Quick9’s functionality to PMG members and is set to launch in time for the start of the UK golf season.

Both businesses also have plans for deeper collaboration in the future. “PlayMoreGolf is committed to helping clubs grow and enhance their member communities.

We’re developing some exciting new initiatives, and Quick9 plays a key role in those plans,” added Alastair Sinclair.

The collaboration comes at a pivotal time, with many golfers seeking to justify their memberships by finding more opportunities to get out and play.

By introducing Quick9 to their members, PMG is ensuring that their growing member community not only has access to an extensive network of courses but also to tools that make playing and organising games more convenient than ever before.
