Corridor of Famer Pam Shriver is the sufferer of a Grand Slam heist.
The previous world No. 1 doubles champion mentioned “most” of her Grand Slam trophies, saved in her automobile, are actually gone after her automobile was stolen from a lodge parking zone.
“My son and I are at a police station reporting our automobile was stolen from the lodge parking zone we evacuated to when the fires began,” Pam Shriver posted on social media. “This was the automobile that had most of my main trophies being saved till we will safely transfer again house.”
ESPN analyst and 22-time main doubles champion Shriver instructed ESPN.com trophies have been saved in a Dodge Durango Hellcat, parked within the Marina del Rey DoubleTree parking zone.
Shriver mentioned she found the automobile was lacking at round 7:30 a.m. on Thursday and reported the theft to native police. In all, Shriver reported 5 US Open trophies, 5 French Open plates and one Australian Open trophy have been stolen.
