Despite looking like improvements were being made, Paddy Pimblett is back to his old habits. The rising star revealed that he has gained 42 pounds since UFC 314 last weekend.
‘The Baddy’ is quickly establishing himself as a superstar under the UFC banner, but his lifestyle outside of the octagon remains less than impressive. Though he has found much success throughout his time in the cage, the scouser continues to have an unhealthy attachment to food.
Paddy Pimblett looked to have put his eating disorder behind him in the build-up to the Michael Chandler clash, which in turn helped him deliver the best performance of his career.
Now, that doesn’t seem to be the case after Pimblett disclosed just how much weight he has gained since UFC 314 on April 12.
“On Sunday, I had about five milkshakes,” Pimblett told Bruce Buffer. “After the fight, literally.”
“So, I think this morning I woke up [at] like 198 [pounds], which is fat. Yeah, that’s about the heaviest I get. I don’t ever really touch 200, only if I’m in the States.”
“In the States, that food, it makes me into a machine. I’m just massive in the States. But, when I’m back in the UK, the highest I’ll reach is like 195, something like that.”

Pimblett later explained why it’s harder to watch his weight when he’s in the US opposed to the UK.
“Just the servings. The amount of food and just even the drinks, because in the UK, if I go to a restaurant and order a Coca-Cola, I just get that one Coca-Cola.”
“In the States, there’s still that much of my Coca-Cola left, and they come over and take it and put a brand new one down. I’m just like, ‘I’ve got a full Coke.'”
