ONE Championship was scheduled to make its “Centennial State” return on Aug. 1 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colo., but a major injury to atomweight champion Stamp Fairtex, as well as other options that “did not come together,” forced the promotion to rebook the card for June 26, 2026.
That’s the second time this year ONE was forced to postpone an event.
“We are saddened to hear of the injury setback to Stamp and wish her nothing but the best in her road to recovery,” ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong said in today’s release. “After looking at multiple alternate headlining options that unfortunately did not come together, we have made the difficult decision to move our Denver event to June 26.”
The 27 year-old Fairtex (11-2), who has not competed since Sept. 2023, was forced to relinquished her atomweight strap, making 28 year-old interim titleholder Denice Zamboanga (12-2) the undisputed champion.
“When bringing the world’s largest martial arts organization to the U.S., we strive to deliver the very best product to our passionate American fan base and put on the most entertaining and memorable show possible,” Sityodtong continued. “The U.S. remains a high-priority market for ONE and our global business, and we remain committed to maintaining a strong presence in the region with monthly ONE Fight Night events in U.S. primetime and future on-ground events.”
