UK Athletics has introduced 38 athletes chosen for the 2024-25 Olympic Futures Programme, a key initiative designed to help rising stars in athletics.

The programme, supported by Nike and delivered in partnership with the house nation athletics federations, gives alternatives for athletes to develop the abilities and talents required for worldwide senior success.

It serves as a vital stepping stone for younger expertise, serving to them to transition on to the British Athletics’ World Class Programme, the place they’d have the profit to obtain Nationwide Lottery funding.

By being on the Future Programme, British Athletics have recognized that athlete as having the potential to win medals on the Olympic Video games in coming years.

Among the many athletes on the 2024-25 Future Programme are a number of returning faces, together with Charlie Carvell.
