Jonathan David will be out of contract at LOSC Lille and therefore a free agent this summer, and under such circumstances, the Canadian striker has understandably attracted the attention of a number of top clubs. According to RMC Sport, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, as well as Olympique Marseille, are all interested in his services on a free transfer.
Apart from the lack of need to pay a transfer fee, David’s age (25) and quality as a rather versatile and efficient attacking player make him a highly attractive prospect for any potential suitor.
David joined Lille from KAA Gent in 2020 for a reported fee of €27million. He has been a constant performer for the Ligue 1 side since, and in 2024/25, he has 25 goals and 11 assists in 46 matches across all competitions so far.
With everything taken into account, monitoring his situation only makes sense for every top club in need of attacking reinforcements this summer, and it will surely be a story worth following.
