I’ve gotten a lot of, ‘Hey, really surprised by the timing,’ but I haven’t gotten people who told me, ‘This doesn’t make sense’ or ‘This shouldn’t have happened’ or ‘This was a poor decision.’ Honestly, I’ve gotten a lot of the feeling of, ‘Hey, we needed fresh air. We needed a change.’ And frankly also—optimism that David Adelman is a guy that is going to be a damn good head coach. It’s a tough situation to throw a guy into—a few games left in the regular season, on a team that has the best player in the world. But he has the respect of Joker, of Murray. Those guys like him.
