The Nike EYBL stopped in Kansas City for Memorial Day weekend. Here are a few of the eye-catchers from the high school classes of 2026-28.

Caleb Gaskins 6’8 210 PF – Nightrydas 2026

Gaskins was solid but his consistency isn’t quite there yet. He scored around the basket and can be a tough matchup when he utilizes his strength, length, and athleticism. He still has to clean up as a ball-handler and finishing on some layups. While his shot has shown some improvement from midrange, he motions his long arms over his head and shoots it on the way down sometimes, missing all 8 3PT attempts. He’s versatile on the defensive end, defending multiple positions and can cover areas well. Gaskins averaged 13.3 points on 36.4% FG%, 81.3% FT%, and 5.8 (2.3 offensive) rebounds per game.

Manny Green 6’6 185 SF – Nightrydas 2026

Green showed he can shoot it from anywhere with soft touch and scored well without hunting for his shots. He can space the floor and spot up but wasn’t consistent from outside at 20% 3PT%, he was better pulling up from midrange. He attacked when appropriate and shot 4.5 free throws per game, connecting on 77.8% FT%. He’s a solid athlete and pretty light on his feet. He showed he can lead the break and make the right pass in transition as well. He had a down game against Mokan but showed some offensive reliability for Nightrydas. He averaged 13.3 points on 42.9% FG%. He didn’t contribute too heavy outside of scoring with 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

Elhadji Diallo 6’8 210 PF – NY Lightning 2026

Diallo provides good energy and athleticism. He gets off the floor quickly and finished with a few dunks. He plays within himself and is reliable as a rim-runner or cleaning up around the basket but he is limited offensively. However, he still averaged 12.3 points per game on 51.2% FG%. He was good on the boards with 8 (2.8 offensive) per game and solid on defense.

Tyran Stokes 6’7 245 SF – Oakland Soldiers 2026

Stokes (pictured) was more under control and not as loose as he was the previous week in Memphis. He shot well without settling for the long ball and despite getting bailed out quite a bit, he drew fouls at a high rate to shoot 10.8 free throws per game. He handled the ball well, changing speed to create for himself and maneuvers through congestion better than you would think for someone with his strength and power. He made some nice passes out of the post and other drives throughout his games. As usual, he had his share of explosive finishes, even against a set defense. He impressed each showing but his standout game was against Team Durant with 30 points, 18 rebounds, 5 assists to 1 turnover, and 4 steals. Stokes’ 4 game averages were 25.3 points on 47% FG%, 37.5% 3PT% on 2 3PT attempts, 83.7% FT%, 10 (2.5 offensive) rebounds, and 4 assists to 3.8 turnovers per game.

Jason Crowe 6’3 170 PG – Oakland Soldiers 2026

Crowe is a high-volume scoring guard. He can shoot it from 3 and as well as get into the midrange while using pivots, step-backs, and fadeaways. He’s a good ball-handler and can get to the rim on occasions but prefers a contested pull-up or step-back a bit often. Improving shot selection and bringing out the best in his teammates will appeal at the next levels, as his Session 3 stats of 21 shots per game and 2.5 assists to 3.8 turnovers aren’t ideal. When he does get to the rim the lefty can finish well with his right hand. He struggled scoring and operating in congestion early on against Team Herro but turned it on in the second half scoring at will but still needs to find that balance of forced shots vs making proper reads. Crowe posted 22.3 points on 40.5% FG%, 31.3% 3PT% on 8.5 3PT attempts, and 5 rebounds per game.

Dylan Mingo 6’5 180 PG/SG – PSA Cardinals 2026

Mingo didn’t shoot too well, shooting 21.8% FG% and 1-14 from 3PT over the 4 games, but handled the ball and drew a lot of fouls. He has long arms and can cover a lot of ground while getting shifty off the dribble. He got loose with it at times and lost the ball with contact on a few occasions. Adding consistency to his 3PT shot will be important moving forward. He has good tools for a point guard which helps defensively as well, and he rebounds well for his position at 7.3 per game. Mingo averaged 13.3 points per game, with his most reliable scoring option being him getting to the free throw line, which he does well, scoring 28 of his 53 total points on free throws, shooting 84.8% FT% on 8.3 free throws per game. His playmaking is developing, and he can improve his 2 assists to 3 turnovers per game.

Adonis Ratliff 6’9 200 PF – PSA Cardinals 2026

Ratliff is long and lanky but has a strong base. He moves well and has some athletic pop when scoring in the paint. He has to control himself on both ends of the floor, picking up unnecessary fouls and he travels a bit. He has a nice shot but lets it fly before getting his feet set at times, but shot a nice 45.8% 3PT% on 6 3PT attempts per game, including 6-9 3PT in the game against Team Final alone. As he matures and his game grows, he has room to move up even higher. Ratliff averaged 14 points on 45.5% FG% and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Christian Collins 6’8 200 PF – Team Why Not 2026

Collins was up and down, with a few games not showing much production mixed in with some good ones. He has good size and length on the perimeter. He can tighten up as a ball-handler but uses his dribble to create well. His lower body is fluid, getting quick and low on his jab step and crossover. He can run the pick and roll as well as make accurate cross-court passes off the dribble. He rebounds well (8 RPG) but ends up on the ground somewhat frequently with contact and will need to get stronger in his base and upper body. His shot can also be flat and doesn’t get ideal rotation, missing all 8 3PT attempts. Collins has made a leap in the past year onto the national rankings and still has room to grow. He finished with 9.8 points on 35.1% FG%, 76.5% FT%, and 1.3 assists to 3.3 turnovers per game.

Trey Beamer 6’1 160 PG – Team United 2026

Beamer is dangerous off the dribble with an array of moves and handles well under pressure. He gets into the midrange to create a shot at a good rate, putting up points as a high-volume scorer at 20.3 points per game on 46.2% FG% (16.3 shots per game). He draws fouls well and makes the most of his free throw opportunities, going 17-18 from the foul line. He didn’t have much success from 3PT, to go 4-19 from the perimeter over his 4 games. He did ok rebounding for his position with 4 per game and is capable as a passer, but naturally reads the game with a scoring mentality, and can improve minimizing turnovers, ultimately with 2.5 assists to 3.3 turnovers per game.

Markus Kerr 6’5 180 SG – Team United 2026

Kerr is another scoring guard for Team United, posting a weekend average of 17 points per game on an efficient 59.6% FG% and shot 4-10 from 3PT. He got to the rim well as a smooth ball-handler. He used his athleticism and length to finish over smaller guards at times. He uses his body well at the rim and even showed he can post-up when he has the size advantage. He also rebounded well with 6.3 per game and showed solid passing ability.

Austin Goosby 6’5 190 SG – Drive Nation 2026

Goosby created well in the half-court without trying to do too much. He doesn’t over-dribble and has a quick crossover to get to the rim. His 3PT shot is sound and he doesn’t chuck up quick looks, going 4-10 from 3PT over the 4 games. He has a concise game and does a good job not putting himself in bad situations. He’s quick and a good athlete as he doesn’t take time loading up when dunking. Goosby averaged 20 points on 46.8% FG% and did a good job getting to the foul line to shoot 6 free throws per game, connecting at 75% FT%. He also grabbed 7.8 (2.3 offensive) rebounds and passed out a solid 3.8 assists to 2 turnovers per game. He impressed as a perimeter defender and blocked shots well for his position, recording 1.5 per game.

JJ Andrews 6’6 220 SF – Brad Beal Elite 2026 (Arkansas)

Andrews is physical with a strong build, long arms, and shifty handle, creating offense well for himself. He’s quick and changes his speed well with the ball. He’s not reliant on the 3-ball, going 3-10 over 4 games, but hit a few pull-ups, got to the rim, and drew a lot of fouls, shooting 9.5 free throws per game and connecting at 78.9% FT%. Defensively, he’s physical and versatile, showing ability to guard a few different positions well. He’s capable of hitting contested and tough shots, scoring 18.8 points on 48.8% FG%.

Ethan Taylor 7’0 230 C – MoKan 2026

Taylor’s size is hard for anyone to match up with at this level. He’s also very mobile, consistently running the floor and alert. He had a few plays in a row against Nightrydas where he sealed his man, then caught a lob to finish with a jam. He’s reliable underneath and has some touch around the rim but doesn’t have an expanded game in the low post. Taylor averaged 13.3 points on 76% FG%, only missing 6 shots in 4 games. He also shot a nice 78.9% FT%. He rebounded well and secured everything he could get two hands on, grabbing 9.5 (2.5 offensive) boards per game.

Paul Osaruyi 6’8 220 PF – AZ Unity 2027

Osaruyi has added a nice pull-up jumper to his game and he’s putting the ball down and handling it better. His shot isn’t getting full rotation, but the arc is good and it’s dropping right in. He’s still mishandling some passes and picking up his dribble early but he’s showing signs of progression. His defensive awareness can still improve as well but he comes away with some nice blocks and the tools/athletic ability is there. He started out with 2 bad games (6 points/0 rebounds and 2 points/2rebounds) but showed plenty of flashes to close out the weekend. Osaruyi ended up averaging 8.3 points on 48.4% FG%, 3-9 FT, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game.

Marcus Johnson 6’1 175 PG – Indy Heat 2026

Johnson is a high-volume scorer, scoring 26.3 points on 48.1% FG%, taking 20.3 shots per game. He can fill it up with his high arcing shot from the perimeter (45% 3PT% on 5 3PTA per game), pull up from midrange, or hit a floater. He can make some difficult shots at the rim but that may not be as frequent at the next levels with his lack of size and vertical pop. He drew fouls well to shoot 6.8 free throws per game but only shot 66.6% FT%. He’s a strong ball-handler, keeping his dribble alive with contact and makes reads off screens, passing out 3.3 assists to 2.5 turnovers per game, which improving upon will be important moving forward. He also rebounded well for his position with 6.3 per game.

Vaughn Karvala 6’7 180 SG – Team Herro 2026

Karvala had a bad game against Utah Prospects (4 points, 1-9 FG) but followed up big Oakland Soldiers with 24 points (7-14 FG, 4-10 3PT). He shot a respectable 35.3% 3PT% on 8.5 3PT attempts from outside and moves pretty well without the ball. He knows how to make the right pass and sees the floor well, typically playing within the flow of the offense and not forcing his impact, however he can improve scoring efficiency, scoring 14.5 points per game on 37.3% FG%. He has some length but will need to get stronger as he struggled a bit defending Tyran Stokes in the post. He’s a good athlete too, catching oops and getting chased down blocks showing translatable run and jump ability in game situations. In addition to his perimeter offense, he mixed it up as a scorer, showing craft when scoring at the rim with footwork and touch.

Sinan Huan 7’0 220 C – Team Durant 2026

Huan isn’t real quick but he’s plenty mobile. He gets up well around the basket to dunk out of the reach of the defender and he’s a good shot blocker (1.5 BGP). He has solid skills at his size, showing come ability to put the ball down and slash a bit. He’s not always heavily involved with the offense, scoring single digits in his first 3 games but was great against Utah Prospects with 21 points (7-9 FG) and 16 rebounds. He didn’t attempt any 3PTers and must improve his 55.2% FT% but his shooting stroke isn’t bad. Huan averaged 10 points on 42.9% FG% and 7.8 (2 offensive) rebounds per game.

Babatunde Oladotun 6’9 175 SF – Team Durant 2027

Oladotun has some shooting and scoring potential but will take some time putting it all together, only shooting 2-7 3PT over the 4 games. He does have to get stronger as he struggled to get by defenders with his dribble and with contact in general, often ending up shooting a step-back. When he’s not shooting well, he gets some movement off the ball and can score with simple ones at the basket. He’s athletic and finished with a few nice dunks. He finished with 10.5 points per game on 43.2% FG% and 5.8 (2.5 offensive) rebounds per game.

Dean Rueckert 6’8 195 SG/SF – Utah Prospects 2026

Rueckert plays hard and can fill it up as a scorer with 15.8 points per game on 46.3% FG%. He created scoring opportunities for himself, slashing to the rim and finished with either hand. He’s a good athlete too and can get up well at the rim. His 3PT shot has good mechanics but the consistency will need to improve, shooting 30.8% 3PT% on 6.5 3PT attempts per game. Rueckert was solid overall, showing some passing, defense, and did ok rebounding with 4.5 per game, but stood out most with his ability to score in the half-court.

Dylan Zeigler 6’2 160 PG – Indy Heat 15U 2028

Ziegler played well as a lead guard, getting into the paint at a high rate and creating for himself well off the dribble. He plays well off two feet, using pivots and isn’t afraid to use his left hand. He has some body control and hang-time when he attacks but he can improve finishing in the crowded paint. While he scored 18.5 points per game and shot 5.5 free throws per game, he can be more efficient as he only shot 40.3% FG%, 33.3% 3PT%, and 68.2% FT%. He doesn’t show a lot of emotion or second guess himself when he plays. He also rebounded well for his position, pulling down 5.8 boards per game.

Landon Lampley 6’6 175 SF – Meanstreets 15U 2028

Lampley was impressive, doing a good job of positioning himself down low, sealing, and finishing with touch. He was up and down as a rebounder, only grabbing 4 against Team CP3 and 3 against City Rocks. which there’s room for consistency with his tools. He can slash and is quick off the ground, jumping well off one or both feet. Physically he reminds me of PJ Washington at the same age. Overall, he averaged 20.8 points on 60% FG% and 5.8 (3 offensive) rebounds per game. He doesn’t consistently stretch the floor yet, shooting 2-7 from 3PT range, and he shot 10 free throws per game but only connected at 52.5% FT%. With proper development, Lampley can have a bright future.
