Our 2025 NFL free agency tracker is officially here! We’ll be keeping tabs on all the rumors, reports, trades, news, signings, etc. that are relevant to the Philadelphia Eagles over the next few weeks in this space here at Bleeding Green Nation.

The action unofficially kicks off at noon on Monday, March 10 at 12:00 PM Eastern when the negotiating window (AKA ‘legal tampering’ period) begins. Teams and agents can begin negotiating contracts but they cannot literally put pen to paper until the new league year officially starts on Wednesday, March 12 at 4:00 PM Eastern.

This year’s free agency period will be an interesting one for the Birds. The Eagles are expected to lose multiple key players who contributed to their Super Bowl LIX win. Jeffrey Lurie talked about how the Eagles are expecting to play the compensatory pick game. Howie Roseman also asked for fans to be patient while recently speaking at the NFL Combine. The team seems to be trying to manage expectations but there will be opportunities to add new players at some point.

This post will be constantly updated so check back often!

NFL free agency rumors and trade rumors that are relevant to the Eagles

***Most recent updates will be listed at the top of this section. Times listed as Eastern.***

TUESDAY, MARCH 11

[10:33 PM] – The Eagles had interest in signing Justin Reid, who instead landed with the New Orleans Saints. This much according to a report from James Palmer.

[9:45 PM] – Kenny Gainwell is signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers on a one-year contract, according to a report from Jordan Schultz.

[11:07 AM] – Trade! And it’s a shocker. The Eagles are sending C.J. Gardner-Johnson (huh?) and a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Houston Texans for Kenyon Green and a 2026 fifth-round pick.

MONDAY, MARCH 10

[6:55 PM] – Oren Burks is signing with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.

[5:55 PM] – TRADE! The Eagles are sending Kenny Pickett to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick (via the Detroit Lions) and Dorian Thompson-Robinson, according to a report from Ian Rapoport.

[3:15 PM] – Josh Sweat is signing with the Arizona Cardinals on a four-year, $76.4 million contract, according to Adam Schefter.

[3:03 PM] – Darius Slay is signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a report from Jordan Schultz. However, Tom Pelissero notes that no deal is done despite Slay in talks with the Steelers. So, we’ll see on this one.

[2:12 PM] – Milton Williams is signing with the New England Patriots on a contract worth $26 million per year, according to a report from Ian Rapoport. Wowza.

[1:40 PM] – Isaiah Rodgers is signing a two-year, $15 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings, according to a report from Adam Schefter.

[1:33 PM] – Milton Williams isn’t necessarily signing with the Carolina Panthers. That deal isn’t done yet. The Arizona Cardinals and the Minnesota Vikings are also in on Williams, according to a report from Cayden Steele.

[1:09 PM] – Milton Williams is signing with the Carolina Panthers, according to multiple reports.

[12:07 PM] – Former Eagles pass rusher Haason Reddick is signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a report from Ian Rapoport. One-year contract for $14 million with $12 million guaranteed.

[11:33 AM] – Doesn’t seem like the Eagles and Mekhi Becton will agree to a new contract before the player’s representation is allowed to talk to other teams at noon, according to a report from Tim McManus.

[10:01 AM] – To kick off us, a recap of the latest buzz: 1) The Eagles are reportedly seeking a fourth-round pick in return for a Dallas Goedert trade. 2) Isaiah Rodgers seems to have a strong market and might not be back in Philly.
