The Colts desperately need a tight end. At the moment, little-used Drew Ogletree, the team’s fifth-round pick in 2022, tops the depth chart but has just 18 catches for 256 yards in two years. Will Mallory, a sixth-round pick in 2023, is next with 22 catches for 236 yards over seasons.
Like most draft experts, USA Today’s Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz has the 6-foot-6, 257-pound prospect landing with Indianapolis, even with highly ranked edge-rushers like Marshall DE Mike Green and Alabama LB Jihaad Campbell still on the board.
