The Committee of 101 — a group of national NFL media writers — has revealed its selections for the top players and coaches for the 2024 NFL season. Kansas City Chiefs’ chairman owner and CEO Clark Hunt joined NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” to discuss the announcement.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was voted the AFC’s coach of the year.
“We’re so excited for Andy,” Hunt told the “GMFB” panel. “I think there’s an argument to be made [that] he could really win the award every year, but he’s had an absolutely amazing year. 15 regular-season wins, which is a franchise record. We’ve dealt with a lot of adversity throughout the year. He’s done an incredible job. We’re so lucky to have him in Kansas City, and I’m so happy that Andy is getting recognized in this way this morning.”
